At Schlueter Periodontics & Implants, we accept payments by check and major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover, along with Care Credit. We do not accept cash.
We also accept secure payments online!
We are proud members of the largest third-party dental lending company, Care Credit. If you already have a care credit account, further transactions in our office can be used using your existing account.
Our office will do everything possible to help you understand and make the most of your dental insurance benefits. We realize that dental insurance is complex and that it is extremely difficult to understand how to make it work or even to work with certain dental insurance companies. That is why we provide full assistance to you.
As a courtesy, our office will complete and submit dental insurance forms and predetermine benefits to achieve the maximum reimbursement to which you are entitled, and we will work diligently to make this happen as quickly. It is our policy that payment be made at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
Patients are often very pleasantly surprised to learn that their personal financial cost could be less than “in-network.” Most insurance plans allow patients “out-of-network” benefits. As an out-of-network provider, we are not contractually obligated to your insurance company’s restrictions as contracted providers are. Having this leeway permits us to work with the patient so they can access the level of care needed by our doctors.
Please be aware that some dental insurance companies take longer than others to complete payment. If necessary, our office will contact the dental insurance company, or we may request your help in this matter.
Statements are sent out monthly. Please note that most insurance companies will respond to our submission of your claim within four to six weeks. Any insurance payment made directly to our office, resulting in an overpayment, will be refunded to you.
