Welcome, and congratulations on taking this step toward better dental health.
About 85 percent of the adult population has some form of periodontal disease. This condition causes bone deterioration around the teeth, resulting in infections, swelling, bleeding of the gums, bad breath, looseness and movement of the teeth. With a lack of attention or insufficient treatment, further deterioration will occur, and loss of teeth can result.
Schlueter Periodontics & Dental Implants offers a cutting-edge treatment for stopping this deterioration, utilizing the only FDA-approved laser and procedure. LANAP® is a minimally invasive laser procedure that requires no post-treatment downtime. Their practice philosophy is to provide patients with a thorough analysis and explanation of their oral condition and present treatment options with a focus on a conservative treatment approach.
Schlueter Periodontics’ main directive is honesty and integrity, which is why they have been a thriving practice since 1977. It’s also why they have been voted by their dental peers as one of St. Louis Magazine’s top periodontists every year since the awards began in 2009.
Conveniently located off of Interstate 270 and Tesson Ferry Road, Schlueter Periodontics is one of the only licensed periodontal practices in the St. Louis area to administer IV sedation and holds elite status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Scott Schlueter has served and further trained in the military, along with working in faculty dental education.
Their expert staff is always available to answer questions and concerns and to help provide solutions leading to better oral health and a more attractive smile.
The team at Schlueter Periodontics & Dental Implants hopes to welcome you to their newly renovated and comforting offices soon. Please contact us with any questions.
